Avengers: Infinity War Review
Avengers: Infinity War Review
Avengers:
Infinity War is directed by the Russo Brothers and written by Stephen McFeely
and Christopher Markus. Beforehand, the Russo Brothers had directed some
episodes of ‘Arrested Development’, Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus have
written many other MCU movies. It stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Pratt and Josh
Brolin. Just a warning, if you think this review of Avengers: Infinity War is
vague, it is. The reason why I am doing this is because this movie is a decade
in the making, and I don’t want to ruin it by going into detail to much. I do
not want to spoil this movie.
If I was
asked ‘What was the best thing in this movie?’, I would reply ‘I can’t decide’.
This movie has so many brilliant moments, great characters and interesting
settings that they go to. Josh Brolin is great as Thanos in this movie. He definitely
ties first for ‘Best Villain in the MCU’ Award with Killmonger. You understand
why he is searching for the Infinity Stones and putting them in his Infinity
Gantlet, trying to use them to wipe out half the universes population. You
understand his actions in this movie and why he is doing all this.
The script
is great. It is cool as when you see the scenes with the Guardians of the
Galaxy, they were written by the writer of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
That was good as the characters of the Guardians of the Galaxy felt like they
were who they were, not what the Russo Brothers, Stephen McFeely or Christopher
Markus thought the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ might be, this is because they can
portray the characters they way they like.
There are
some unexpecting stuff that happens in this movie and I reckon some of the
stuff in this movie is too intense for the younger fans of the MCU.
All the
characters are great except for ‘The Children of Thanos’ as they are just throw
away characters. I love this movie and it is probably my favorite MCU movie,
let alone favorite superhero movie.
I give this
movie a 9.75/10 and recommend it to any superhero or movie fans.
The next two
Marvel movies to come out before Untitled Avengers 4 are ‘Ant-Man & the
Wasp’ and ‘Captain Marvel’.
