'Hush' Review
An Enjoyable Short Slow-Burn Thriller

Rating: ★★★½

From director Mike Flanagan comes 'Hush', a home invasion movie with a twist that asks: What if the victim was deaf? What follows is entertaining yet flawed execution of the great concept.
The movie follows Maddie, a deaf author, who is being stalked by a psychotic killer in her secluded and isolated home.
Although the movie has an amazing performance from lead Kate Siegel, excellent writing, brilliant cinematography, genius direction from Flanagan and a satisfying ending, 'Hush' isn't as scary or as tense as one would desire but it is still a very enjoyable 82-minute long slow-burn thriller.
