'Upgrade' (Updated) Review
One of the Most Underrated Movies of 2010s

Rating: ★★★★½

Easily one of the most underrated movies of the 2010s, 'Upgrade' isn't your normal revenge-thriller.
Slower in terms of pacing (especially in the first act) compared to many other action films in the subgenre, once it gets into the groove of things, this movie is a non-stop, adrenaline-fuelled awesome time.
With superbly choreographed action sequences, amazing practical blood and gore, excellent writing, thought-provoking social commentary, a wickedly dark sense of humour, 80s-esque action/sci-fi score, great direction by Leigh Whannell, incredible lead performance by Logan Marshall-Green and an ending that leaves your jaw on the floor, 'Upgrade' is no doubt one of the best under-the-radar flicks in recent memory.
