'Heathers' Review
An 80s Dark Comedy That Still Holds Up

Rating: ★★★★★

"Dear Diary, my teen angst has a body count"
In today's cultural climate, a movie such as 'Heathers' simply wouldn't be released but after over thirty years since it's initial release, does it hold up? Absolutely yes!
A black comedy that takes satirical jabs at high school and popularity, 'Heathers' is easily one of the best movies to come out of the 80s.
With its incredible lead performances from Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, electric chemistry between the cast, phenomenal writing including genius dialogue filled with quotable lines, amazing direction by Michael Lehmann and its signature hilarious dark sense of humour, no wonder 'Heathers' has a cult following.
